Bio-Sketch

Marianne McCoy is a well-known, local, national and international photographer. With her very romantic, ethereal and turn-of-the century style, she uses old cameras and alternative processes to emphasize her uniqueness. Studying at Cornish College of the Arts and the Photographic Center NW in Seattle has rounded out her talents. Her style is used in her Fine Art work as well as attracting commercial clients for it’s very differences. McCoy has taught at the Photographic Center NW and the University of Washington and is taking a class this summer to Paris, France to teach photography there. Her work has been shown internationally and in many major publications. A book of her fine art work is in progress to be published next year.

Experience

Marianne has owned her photography business for 15 years and has a fine art/commercial studio located in Kirkland, WA. She has taught advanced photography and alternative processes at the Photographic Center NW for three years and been guest lecturer for many other schools and clubs. Paris is the destination she leads a workshop to every year. McCoy has exhibited her Fine Art work in international and local galleries. Her work has also been published in many magazines and books. Her new connections are with magazines in Paris – “L’Usine Nouvelle” and “Madame” at Le Figaro publications.
